Seriously- its hers because she hates to drive my "scary" FJ. Its a 2013 T-Force edition SR5 Double Cab with 4wd, which to her (and just about everyone else we meet) looks like Marty McFly's rig on Back To The Future

Only caveat - She wont let me touch it. I "went too far" with the FJ and now its too scary for her to drive:anonymous:

Im new here but old and crusty in the blue room with my FJ.

    Here are a few shots...

Hahaha! She has the neighbors watching...

I have to say the stock 5150 Bilsteins in the rear (remote resi style) are really smooth. Never been a pick-up that rode this nice empty

Its running on a LT platform and lots of custom stuff to see if I can push this IFS to run with SA rigs in the rocks. Ive managed to stay up with a lot of big truggies and buggies. Has 18 1/2" belly clearance with the Lefty/ tummy tuck and geared for rocks but can play in the sand too... :D

I'm jealous of both of your vehicles. I need to work on this "disposable income" thing.

What is she running suspension wise in addition to the 5150s?

No pay- they do add entertainment in traffic and also prevent me from needing to wax... :)

    Thanks

Thats the rear shocks- the fronts are the conventional Bilstein yellow/ blue off road shocks.

Its not bad- what Impressed me are the details- the wheels are totally different than all the Baja/ TT / TRD copy cat beadlock style wheels, the floor mats are custom and the wiring looks factory for all the lights. The looms are all wrapped under the hood and all relays attached to a lazer cut aluminum plate with the T-Force symbol on it. I wasnt a fan of the round KC's at first but they are growing on me. I have a 40" Rigid E-Series light bar sitting in the garage so that may swap them out one day

Ones paid off (FJ) and the other is 1/2 paid- at this point - Im happy to keep it the way it is :)

I wouldn't be caught dead in that stupid looking, stickered FJ. No wonder your wife didn't want to drive it. No sane person would.

No its the lighting and dirt on the rig in that picture. It was late in the day and the shot was taken in jPeg so their was little I could do to save the color. Its Iceburg (rather Warm white) so its a dirty white - even when clean. I was at the end of a 4500 mile 2 week trip across 6 States with wheeling and dune bashing all mixed in. Dont wash it much unless to place a sticker on it :D
