Hello All! First time ever on any type forum. 53 years old and finally bought my first new truck. 2013 Tacoma access cab. It's my first new Toyota but #5 for me. I had two previous that I lifted 3'' and added wheels and tires. I have several people ask me if this one which is a base model is a two or four wheel drive!!!! Those are fightin' words as far as I am concerned. LOL. It does sit rather low and I can't take it, so as of tonight I have ordered a 3'' pro comp lift and Level 8 zx wheels fitted with Goodyear 285/75r16 Duratrac's. I think this should stop the question's about, is it a 4x4. I am once again broke and hope I can afford the next few months payments. At least she will look pretty when they come and haul her away!!!!! NOT. I am not good with computers but hope to post some pic's soon.

Interesting I bought my 2012 at about that age,

Let's see 58 less 2012, but Dob not till July carry the 1

    Boy, this higher math.

But, my first new truck that's great. I think it was my midlife crisis thing, some guys buy sport cars, I picked up a TRD OFF ROAD, with all the bells and systems.
    Couldn't be happier!

And congrats on the truck, enjoy!

Thanks Guy's for the feed back! wheels and tires are on order and should take about a week to get...... AAAAAHHHHHH! It must be mid life crisis, I think it must be a long period as I went through it with my Harley,my 49 Studebaker pick up that is sweeeeeeet and blacker than black and now my new Tacoma that my wife named LOLA after the song about the guy who became a woman. This is a appropriate name I guess after all the harassment I've been getting about the Taco being a 2 wheel drive that triggered all these upcoming mods!!!! I am what I am and glad to be a man! I'll show um' LOL. Now I will have to try to display some pic's. Maybe even one of the Ole' Stude! See Ya!

So is it a 4 wheel drive? .... LOL, just messin witcha. I like the new look with the 3" lift. Where did you get your 4x4 badge on the bedside or did it come stock? I am catching a lot of $hit myself with how low my 2013 sits at stock height. I am lifting mine next week so I am looking forward to not catching anymore crap from onlookers:cool:. I'll post a pic here when I'm done with the lift. Welcome to TW Jimmer and I hope to see you around the posts, Aloha!:D

Thanks for the harassment on the 4x4 part. LOL. FYI I went with the pro comp lift for $189 on ebay and for what I will be using the the truck for it should be fine. The badges with the white tail skull were purchased on ebay through aftershock with a price of $30. I will take a close up shot and post so you can see them clearly. Thanks for the HARASSMENT!!!! LOL P.S. I see your going with 7.5'' lift. Make sure you send me some pics! That should look mean!!!!! Thanks for your Services, some of us within the States really appreciate it!!!!
