I'm new here and I have a few questions that I couldn't quite find answers to searching the existing threads.
I drive a 2011 Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab, Short Bed.

First, the hood scoop. Usually when I'm driving in windy conditions I hear a squealing/howling sound that seems to come from the hood scoop or the wiper blades. Has anybody else experienced this? I used to have an '08 Tacoma w/out the hood scoop and never heard this noise, which leads me to believe it is coming from the hood scoop. Am I just being sensitive to the normal air flow around/over the scoop? Or should I get this checked out? Thoughts/suggestions?

Second, the Air Circulation button. This seems to be happening more recently since the cold weather and I've been using the heater. I usually have the settings as follows: Air Circulation On, A/C Off, set for Foot and Defrost Vents, Low Flow (not Off), Heat set anywhere from warm (knob straight up and down) to Hottest. If I have those settings and run a little while, the Air Circulation light goes out after a minute or two, meaning circulation is not happening anymore. I can turn it On again, but it will go out in another minute or two, and usually repeat this process my whole commute (~1 hr). Why is that happening? Is it supposed to happen or shouldn't it stay On? This did not happen in my '08 Tacoma. In that truck, if I put Air Circ. On, it stayed on, even after restarting the truck. On this 2011, the Air Circ. goes out all the time. Thoughts/suggestions?

Press and hold the circulation button for about 3 to 5 seconds. This will keep it on.
