Hey y'all. Glad to meetcha. Georgia girl with her first baby truck (2014 Tacoma). Won't ask too many questions yet because I can't do much until the warranty falls off.
Warning: total smart arse, but pretty good natured.
Question: can somebody please tell me the purpose of a bull bar?
(before you answer, I am an avid hiker that spends almost as much time on fs roads as most people do on the highway and I've spent the last 14 years running cows for a living.)
Another question: i can't remember what nerf bars I had on my 1500 since I bought them 13 years ago. Any suggestions?

Okay, so I lied about the question part..

"Baby truck"? BABY TRUCK !?!?! LEAVE! no just kiddin' and a bull bar is for pushing stuff at least that's what cop cars use them for to ram stuff. I guess it would help if you were in an accident, but most tacoma owners just replace their front bumpers with some sort of off road ones. no nerf bars for me so I can't help you there.

lol. i was waiting on that! all i've ever had were big toys. '76 cheyenne blazer with 3"bl/3"sl, '01 1500 off-road (stock badass mofo), etc.. i do love my baby truck though! it will get in places that my biguns never could. well, without leaving something behind, anyways.
as for the bull bars, you'd have to aim to make it sure it made contact. waste of time and money. i found a bumper i want but i can't replace anything yet!! damn warranty.
