New member Pensacola

Hey guys my name is Rusty and I bought a white 2012 DC 4x4 sr5 a few months back. This is my third toyota truck but my first in over ten years. My previous ride was a Silverado with the duramax diesel. Traded it with 220,000 relatively trouble free miles on it, just didn't need that much truck anymore. So far I love the overall package of the tacoma. This is my first double cab and I love it.
So far my likes:
-double cab, will never own another truck without it. The chevy had the suicide doors.
-Ride and handling much more refined. My last yota was a 94 pre-tacoma.
-Fit and finish typical toyota
-Sound system meets my needs
-Love the white
-tows the boat well
-great resale
Dislikes:

- Gas mileage same as my 94
-Takes premium gas to prevent knock
-Driveshaft vibration at takeoff and 20mph. Thanks to this forum I found out about about the latest tsb and its going in to the dealer monday. I'll report back the results.
-I miss the low end torque of the diesel. In my mind a taco with a diesel would be the perfect truck.

Not planning on much in the way of mods aside from my dad welding me up a rack, but I do enjoy seeing what you guys do to yours. Keep up the good work.
