I'm a new member with a 2012 DCLB 4X4 with Dunlop tires. I drive a lot of highway miles then go into construction sites. I bought the truck new and thought I would get use to the soft non truck like ride and steering feel. I down sized from a Ram 2500 DCLB Diesel 4X4. The more I drove the more I disliked my Tacoma to the point I was considering selling.
Then I found this forum and learned the tires and suspension are weak. Upgraded to Michelin LXT LT265/75/16 MS2, Wheeler's 5 pack HD leaf springs, Bilstein 5100 shocks, OME 885 front coils, and a driver's side strut spacer.
Wow! What a great truck now.
Sincerely, Thank you to everyone who takes the time to post information for others to learn and increase the pleasure of owning a Tacoma.

True. I had to pull a 24' enclosed trailer for my company and needed the diesel and the Cummins was my choice. I now have a larger truck for pulling a 44' trailer and could sell the Ram.

Welcome to TW! Glad you figured out the issues with the suspension instead of selling. They really are great trucks once you fix the lousy suspension they come with.
