    Hi to All:
I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner with 18" rims 265/60/R18 tires for the moment. I'm considering to lift 2.5" in the front and 2.0" in the rear, but my question is if I need to replace the rear shock for this set up. I'm not use this truck under off road condition just I want to change the truck appearance. Eventually I'm considering to install a 285/65/18 tires with this set up with out any additional change. I appreciate your comments a sugestions .

Yes, if you are lifting 2'' in the rear you will need new rear shocks. You 'could' run your factory shocks but you risk damaging them.
