Hey. This is my first time posting. Was wondering if someone could help me out. I have a 99 4wd sr5 v6 tacoma(5vzfe). During acceleration the fuel cuts off at about 15-20 mph for about 10-15 secs. Then "pops" back on with a pop sound and accelerates normal. I've replaced the fuel filter, maf sensor, tps, plugs and wires,pre- cat o2 sensor. And still have problem. It's throwing a p0172 and a p0120. If anyone has heard of this situation or has any idea what this might be I'd greAtly appreciate it if u could help me out. Thanks a lot.

Welcome to TW Anthony, have you tested your fuel pressure? It sounds like your fuel pump isn't pushing enough fuel to the injectors.

Welcome to TW.. What he meant to say is that there could be a few problems with your truck. I searched the codes for you and here is what I found.

    Possible solutions include:
Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary
Clean the MAF sensor. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner.
Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling Inspect fuel lines for cracks, leaks, or pinches Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail Check the fuel injectors, they may be dirty.
Use fuel injector cleaner or get them professionally cleaned/replaced.
Check for an exhaust leak before the first oxygen sensor (this is unlikely to cause the problem, but it is possible)

Thanks for responding. I couldn't find a test port on the rails. So ive searched and it sounds like there isn't a test port on the fuel rails on the 5vzfe And I did clean the maf sensor again and still no change. Inspected fuel lines,PVC and vacuum lines look good. Did some injector cleaner as well. Is there a way to tell if the injectors are damaged by visual inspection or some kind of test? Thanks again
