Greetings, I am new here, but not new to Tacomas. My first was an '89, which I gave to my brother in '01 after having purchased a new "02 Tacoma. I'm still driving the "02, and at 117 K, I'm nervous about the original starter, since the starter in my "89 went out at about 70K. Can anyone give me some feedback as to how long a starter might last? I'm thinking to simply replace it now, rather than waiting for it to strand me.

    Phil
