Grill Guard, Fire/Rescue light siren package, LED scene lights. 16' light tower.
Newbie to this forum, but not to Tacoma's. Currently I have a 2006 double cab, 6 cyl. auto. I have enjoyed reading the many threads, but just joined. My Taco has just rolled 113,000, and still act's young. I tow a 26' AR-One (Star craft) travel trailer (loaded 4800 lbs), yes I use a brake controller and WD hitch with sway control. I have traveled the Adirondacks, Catskills, Ontario, Vermont and south to South Carolina. What's unique about this truck is I use it also as a volunteer Firefighter. It's equipped with grill guard, LED scene lighting as well as a siren/light package. In the box I have mounted a 16' telescoping LED light tower that plugs into the trailer plug. It reduces down to 43" and folds over the wheel well on the drivers side. It has impressed the heck out of me, tough little truck, since I come from a Chevy Silverado family. So far so good, even through the tough winter's that Northern New York throws at us. Even survived a few deer hits without damage. Love this truck and you might have guessed....it's red!!
