Hello everyone I'm new here. I don't have a Taco yet but looking. I have had a 1986 Toyota pickup 4x4 that rolled on 33 and had a transfercase doubler and locked. Right now I have a jeep wrangler tj that I'm putting in a 5.3 vortec and will be sitting on 35 or 37. work in progress. well anyway what I am looking to do is get a salvaged four door, short wheelbase taco chop off the ifs install a 3 link solid front axle, take off the bed and get rid of the leafs and convert over to four triangulated link with coilovers. anyone tried this before?

Here is a better question. What year should I be on the look out for?
