Hey everyone, my name is Mike. I currently have a TRD Pro in super white on order at my local dealer. Really looking forward to having a pickup, as I got into hunting last year and my Jetta just isn't cutting it....lol.

^^^ Yeah, don't listen to 'em - the people giving you flack that is. I got a 2014 Baja because it was the truck I wanted. Yes I'm mostly a street driver and I wanted a damn good OEM warrantied suspension. The roads up here suck! I love driving this truck on the road. TRD Catback rocks, you won't be disappointed.

I do plan on using my truck for light off-roading and the Baja package works for me. It's gonna be nice to have in the snow storms we get up here. My old 2011 I4 with Stock Dunlops performed flawlessly in the snow up here. Can't wait to see how the Baja handles.

You're gonna love your Pro! Same suspension as Baja.

Congrats man - Post some pics up when you get it.

My sales rep signed all the papers TBD right now. I know its a special order and they will be hard to find, but I am hoping they cut me a decent deal. However, I did recently bring them two customers. One bought a TRD Off Road and the other a Rav4.

Ha, yeah I figured. But its a great way to quick some quick mods without losing my factory warranty. I actually really want to get the TRD supercharger as well. Not sure if it will work though, heard they never updated the maps for the 2014 trucks.

"Yes I'm mostly a street driver and I wanted a damn good OEM warrantied suspension. " My thoughts exactly! Sounds like we are in similar situations. I only plan on doing a little off-roading while hunting and the winters here in Jersey have been unpredictable. Definitely looking forward to take it out in the snow.

I'm hoping by the end of Sept. Apparently the skeletons are being built now. Still waiting on a VIN# though.

    Hello,

How does a truck with an offroad package, such as the TRD pro, help performance in snow compared to trucks without an offroad package? Tires aside, do shocks help that much?

Just curious as I am in the market for a new truck and I live in an extremely snowy region of Alaska. I don't do any offroading but if an offroad version of a truck performs that much better in snow it would be worth the extra cost to me.

    Thanks!

The Baja and Pro package suspension gives you almost an extra 2" lift on the front end. Back end is stock I believe - not sure about the Pro. You also get about 1" extra wheel travel in the front and about 1.5" extra wheel travel in the rear.

The Offroad package also gives you the rear locker. I preferred to get my offroad package in a Baja as the stock Offroad suspension always felt a bit soft to me, but I am not a hardcore offroader.

Important if your dealing with alot of snow. We had a "40 year snow storm" up hear about 5-6 years ago and I'm talking 3' of snow. Every extra bit of clearance you have is going to help. I actually had an '87 FJ60 with a 4" OME and had trouble getting out of the driveway!

Why is this? The grill? No graphics? From what I can tell that is the only difference between the 2015 Tacoma Pro vs, the Baja T|X package of previous years.

Ahh, well the Baja was available in Inferno as well. I came very close to going that route, but went Super White when I found they had one available.
