Welcome! I'm pretty new in here as well and learned a lot about my vehicle and done a few additions to my truck from information learned in this forum.
I am in Tulsa and getting ready to hang out around Grand Lake this winter to do a bit of deer hunting. Thank God I have a 4x4 again! Need it in NE Okla.

taljr. Im not too far from you man. Im about 1 1/2 from you in Sallisaw. I usually try to avoid Tulsa tho. My wife goes shopping there quite often and i usually get coerced into going too. This is my first 4X4. I used to work up at the Lock and Dam in Inola and the drive sucked especially during winter in a 2wd. I actually got stuck for 3 days at work a couple years ago. thankfully i have 4x4 now too.

I need a 4x4 for the hills in my neighborhood to work during snow and considering a plow so I don't have to hire others and do love to play in the snow.

I have been without 4x4 for 6 years due to the type work I "was" doing. Now I have a good excuse to go back to the Grand Lake area to do some hunting because it is the only way to get around that rocky hilly country.

It is a good thing your not having to make the Sallisaw/Inola drive. I guess you made it by way of Peggs and the Locust Grove turn off? That long a drive is treacherous without a 4x4 especially after last winter. I hope this winter is not as bad.
