    Compass and temp not displaying on my 2008 tacoma. What is a 510 people refer to?

    510 is a resistor

    Personally.....you might just need to solder some of the soldering joints, as they could have separated.

    My husband works in electronics industry - he re-soldered a lot of the joints on the circuit board on my truck. He did not replace the resistor. It's been fine ever since.
