How Do You Pronounce "TRD?"

I can't help but call my new truck on order the "Turd" I figure if you are secure enough in your truck to give it that nickname, it is a term of endearment.

Does anyone else call it that or am I just alone here?

 

It's a nickname people have called my truck I just say it's betterto have a truck that can be called a turd rather than a truck that is a turd.

It stands for "Toyota Racing Development" but I've always thought turd every time I see it lol. My double cab is just an SR5, but if it was a TRD I likely would have removed the sticker when I got it.

 

It's already been said, but all my friends call my truck turd

 

My wife sez "hey it's a turd in a trd" She thinks she's funny

Yeah I've just been saying the letters T R D this whole time, until today I heard (read) someone call it "turd". It'll never be the same. Luckily, mine isn't TRD so none of my friends call my truck the turd; rather, the "Taco" because of my "got taco" decal on the back window.
