:confused:Hi everybody.I just came across this forum after recently buying my first Toyota vehicle.I had previously always driven Fords.Several f-150's and Rangers.Had good luck with them but, wanted to try something different.About 2 weeks ago,I bought a 2010 Tacoma double cab sr5.Sofar,i am impressed but, still very nervous about my purchase.Would love to hear the pro's and con's about this vehicle from members here.I know practically nothing about Tacomas. Please fill me in.Thanks!

Too poor to list anything interesting.

    Welcome!

Pros: They're fun to drive, reliable, and have a lot of aftermarket options to make them into whatever you want.

Cons: You found this site and will cry every time you look at your bank account.

Only thing you need to know: Unlike Ford, they're built well and extremely reliable. They also have a high resale value..[/thread]

First new Toyota was a 1997 T100 4X4. Recently sold the truck, 100,000 miles with nothing but normal maintenance. Regretted selling it almost immediately!!

To correct that mistake, on 7 November, order eda new Limited 2015 Tacoma DoublCab short box, with running boards. Deliver expected around Christmas. Just hope it's as good as that T100!!!!!!

Im on my 3rd toyota my first two had ove 300,000 miles when i sold and i have seen one of them driving around today... 95 Pickup, 91 Pickup and now 2007 pickup. All have been highly reliable. Only cons you may find, is an empty wallet from mods, and maybe some driveline vibration that most of us have and there are fixes for it.(some work some dont) My family has owned Chevys, Toyotas and Hondas. My Toyotas and Hondas have been way more reliable than the chevy was (not speaking of pre 1990 because those were tanks)

Welcome to the family and Happy modding..

    That's freaking hilarious!

The super creepy lumberjack guy, and the look of total disgust and disinterest on her face, totally makes that pic!

    Oh yeah, welcome, OP.
