    Hi All!

I've been viewing posts on this site when I have questions or problems, but finally decided I better become a member.
Seems to be a great group of people.
I bought a 2013 Tacoma TRD OFF Road last year with 12K miles. This year was my first hunting season in it and I must say that the locking diff. is fantastic! In the summer it pulls a drift boat and has a bed full of camping gear. It also does a great job of dragging my kids through the snow on an inner-tube. My dog loves it too.
    Happy Holidays

Thanks fellas! I don't mind a little BS, I've been known to throw a little around myself.
I'm looking forward to learning the pros and cons of lifting my Taco in regards to on road driving and MPG. I'm also curious about improving my MPG. So I'll be searching threads.
AND, I need to learn how to post pics.
    So much to learn!

If your going for function a 3" lift will be perfect. Anything above that will be only for looks cause even with a 6" lift with the drop bracket you wont get any more clearance then with a 3" lift. But with a lift and bigger tires come a drop in MPG. I have a 3" lift with 33"s and I lost a couple miles per gallon but on the other hand I love the look of it haha.

Hey DeeKay21, what kind of lift did you use? Did you do it yourself?

I pieced my lift together myself. Its Bilstein 5100's with OME 885's and 2" rear AAL's with TC UCA's. I love the lift but if I were to do it again I would have went with the full OME setup or the Toytec Ultimate lift kit.
