Very new to this site, and new to owning a Toyota Tacoma. Just bought a 2003 Pre Runner Xtra-Cab with 77,000 miles, totally stock. Really stoked with the truck. Was told it needed new shocks, no big deal from what I understand. I just want to know what would be the best shock to buy that is going to give me the smoothest ride. Any help and suggestions is totally appreciated! Thanks!

    What's your budget?

You can't go wrong with what comes on these trucks from the factory - Bilsteins. The 5100's are very popular.

OME (Old Man EMU) are also a very good choice, I've had a set myself.

    Welcome to the site!!

Thanks for the reply and the welcome!! I guess budget is flexible, I have seen Billsteins going for 300+, I could swing that. I have also seen that I would have to decide what measurement to set them at? And that's puts me swimming out of my depth of knowledge ;). Sorry to disappoint, it's my first truck ;)
