    Hello Tacoma World, I just took ownership of new to me a 2009 Double Cab, Tacoma SR5 complete with colour match Leer cap. I look forward to using the Taco to tow our Boler travel trailer and get back to camping.
    It sure is different then the last Toyota truck I owned back in the mid '80s, a 2wd HiLux !:cool:

    I can relate, and I went from a 1999 Tacoma to a 2015 Tacoma so I can only imagine how you feel. Technology, and things in general change a whole lot from the 1980s to 2009.... I'm still getting used to it

    photo.jpg So after a year of ownership I am enjoying the 2009 Taco.
    I sold the shell and got a Tonneau cover. I like the look and can clear snow off easier.
    Went to Grabber HTS tires but they are proving to be shit in the snow.
    Changed out headlights for an ebay smoke set with fogs...all wiring was already in truck...score!
    Modified aluminium skid pan to accept an ebay purchase Bull Bar.
    And all interior lights replaced with LEDs.

    Many ideas on the list of TODO to TACO yet.
    Change Diff, Transfer and Trans fluids to synthetic this spring.
    Wheels and tires...a good winter set up.
    Trailer charge and brake controller.
    Front and rear LED spotting lights .
    Box lighting.
    Build a sound deadening, tool holding compartment behind rear seat.
    and so on and so on and so on....
