New hear

Just thought I would introduce myself! ( I see It corrected to the wrong "here" ^ in my title, so year I realize that if a mod could fix it so I don't look like a dork haha)
new guy here who just got a Tacoma this week! I joined the site because I was apart of a similar site for my Subaru and there's is so much information and ideas inside here that its worth it to join if you ever have a question.

my truck:
05 Toyota Tacoma trd offroad sr5
bought it used and the previous owner was an awesome guy so I felt good buying the used truck off of him
came with:
-hid's in the fogs and headlights
-Incubus "off-road" wheels
-Danahoe racing "signature" 3" suspension lift
-exhaust
-intake

future ideas:
-raptor style grill
-lightbar
-paint to match grill (not feeling the chrome)
-a way to light up the bed (no bed lights?)
-antenna
-different wheels when it comes time to get new tires, probably go with a more all terrain tire next (better gas mileage I would hope)
-defog the headlight lenses
-sport version hood (someday) my Subaru had the hood scoop and I miss it and I like how it looks
-plastidip/ vinyl wrap the roof because it has slight sun fade and I want to just stop it for now, maybe repaint it if I ever get a hood.
-delete the hood plastic protector thing (forgot what they are called, anyone want to buy it?)
-Enjoy this he** out of it!

Sick looking truck man! I just recently bought mine too, and am loving this site and community already. So many ideas and experienced brains to pick.

The black bar is a bug deflector, and the one I have on my red truck actually contrasts the red pretty well and matches the window guards and mud flaps. I'm sure you can find someone who would buy it off you since you're deleting it anyway.

Awesome thanks for the link! I was a photography major (and buisness marketing minor) when I played football for the Nevada wolfpack,

On another forum, they had a photo contest of the month type of thing where the winner would win like a decal and liscence plate frame( something small) but it put you vehicle and your winning picture on the front page, which I guess you could take some pride in.
There would be category's like your car out camping or car long exposures, so it gave the photographer (or person taking the picture) a goal or criteria to meet, so you didn't have to have the best vehicle, just the raddest shot.

Is there anything like this on this forum?

 

We have a weekly photo contest. No prizes and not truck related. It could use a new face to help add some entries.
