    Yawn...
Those are the bumpers that I would love to have installed on my truck!

Do I really have to upgrade my factory suspension if I wish to get fab four bumpers - such as the one posted in Blackend13's pictures?

I see a lot of aftermarket bumper pictures online for the Tacoma, and almost all of them have a lift.

I personally haven't had an issue with the weight really except when i first put it on since the guy before me just put average springs on the front not heavy duty springs. so i had to put spacers on the front and that fixed the issue. and with the back i haven't had any issues at all. and just so u know the bumper its self weights roughly 145 pounds i think... and my winch weights roughly 95 pounds so that is around 250 pounds on the front so it is a lot of weight. Also my truck has the 3 inch OME lift kit With 884 springs and i need 886 so if u need the lift i would suggest 886 springs. hope this helps.

    Thanks for the info, Blackend13.

I have no intentions of adding a winch. I just wanted protection from bumper to light/grill. :( Common bull bars will not do.

Now just when I thought I had just enough for bumpers, I have to save up for a lift kit!! And... we all know a lift kit won't look good without the bigger tire/wheel package to fill up that space.

    Hello overtime. Goodbye wallet.

You have a beautiful truck, & I love this build.

Yeah, overtime. My build is far from done. So yeah, thats how it goes slow and steady i just got lucky with the lift and tires and rims were already on it. So tht was a plus. Anyways thank you :D
