I am Brandon, an Automotive Technician with 17 years of professional experience. I spent the last 8 years working for a guy who is big in the 4x4 scene but I prefer the 2x4's as I live in the SanFrancisco Bay area and have no need for 4x4. I got rid of my '93 4Runner 4x4 to get my 06 PreRunner in 2008. I got a great deal on my It and got lucky. I bought it because of the price. I have a 2006 PreRunner SR5 crewcab long bed, debadged, flat black grill w/white Toyota emblem, flat black 16" stock wheels, 255/65R16 H-Rated tires, Curb Weight is 3277 lbs, closer to 3550 with a full tank and all my crap, 4.0L V6 that I only run on 91 octane, secondary air filter removed, A750E transmission, A04C rear axle (3.73 gears, mechanical LSD), Power Stop Brake Rotors w/perfect stop pads. I took out the cargo organizer behind the rear seat and installed a 12" kicker sub and an amp. I have not ran it at the track but it is much faster than the 1998 mustang GT I had and a little faster than the 1999 - 2004 Mustang GT's and all X Runner's I have raced. Using GPS to time it I run 14.7-14.8 at 95 MPH. It's a sleeper, especially when I roll down the back windows so they can see my kids car seats.

Welcome Op. You say you only use 91 octane. I usually run plus 89 as I don't notice any difference in mileage and just a tad in performance between it and 91. What's your reason for running the primo all the time?
