Kidding! Hey man, your car, if you like it and you enjoy driving it, more power to you. Some people go to extreme lengths to mod for more power or off-road capability, why not gas mileage. That's what it's all about at the end of the day right? Welcome to TW!

I should put some adverts on the side for a Chiropractor...just in case anyone needs to get adjusted after snapping their neck to look. ;)

Cool man! What do you have in mind for it next? How much difference in efficiency with and without the trailer?

Most of the mods are in place...it's just tweaking it to get it more refined and maybe move on to something more sturdy like fiberglass. I still need to address the front wheel well gap covers (between the wheel and engine bay) and see what that will do for me. We'll see... ;)

The single wheel trailer basically fell into my lap about a year and a half ago so I researched if anyone made a single wheel trailer into a boat tail. There wasn't anything made previously (on the internet) so I went in that direction. The trailer still has more work to be done as far as shape goes but all the gap covers are working like they should. They just need more tweaking. If you don't like being stared/pointed at or have your picture taken...this isn't something I would recommend anyone attempt until you get over that. ;)

The best I ever got without the trailer was 35mpg but I think that was with a strong tailwind. It's weird to see that crazy mileage and you go to think that your gas gauge is broken. Mostly I see about 25mpg without the trailer. The truck is EPA rated at 16 city/19 highway. ;)

My gas mileage has been climbing since I've been modding the trailer. The air shocks on the hitch has been my most refining moment as I don't believe anyone has installed a set on the hitch before to keep the trailer oscillations to a minimum. You'd have to ride in the truck to really appreciate what they do. The best gas tank mileage while towing the trailer was just over 31mpg. Don't think there is anyone else out there with a gasser who can say that they get better gas mileage towing a trailer. :D

I figured it would capture someone's attention if they saw "1WD" compared to "4WD". ;)

I'm hoping to reach 35mpg at some point cruising at 65mph. I'm sure I could do it at 51mph (overdrive kicks in at 51mph) but that's too slow for me. ;)

Thanks for the suggestion! Although the 97/98 T-100 could accept a supercharger, I'd have to go with premium fuel, 7th fuel injector, and the added cost of supercharger maintenance. I'm not looking to go fast but farther for the same cost. I think a supercharger would cost me more to go not as far. ;)

I have gotten my T-100 (without the trailer) up to 110mph with room to go. As far as I know, I've got the top speed for a stock T-100. ;)

This is the current side view of the trailer hooked up to the truck.

From what I've been told, seeing the trailer move behind the truck is art in motion. Kinda hard for me to see since I'm driving the rig. :D

I certainly have seen you before. I even posted a thread on your home forum but after weeks of "mod review" I got tired of waiting and said the hell with it. I'll figure things out myself.

    Nice mods.

That probably would classify as art. Some art I just plain don't understand!

Anyway, if you like it, that's what matters. Welcome.
