Back into the wonderful world of Trucks!!

Been searching for a Tacoma forum and found some good info here on TW... so figured it was time to join!

15 years ago, I had an '86 S10 that was lowered, with many other custom add-ons. Loved having a truck.

About 10 years ago went on to an econo-box '92 Civic, couldn't keep it stock, so I swapped a bigger motor, full suspension (shocks, springs, swaybars, urethane bushings, tie-bar braces, etc.). It was a track-star. Super fun. Nothing flashy.


Picked up an '01 A4 1.8T Quattro, chipped it, coil-overs, carbon intake, boost gauge. Still have it. Still love it.



Have an '03 R6 sport bike that gets some track-time.


And finally picked up a 2005 Tacoma. Always wanted a Tacoma since I was into the mini-trucks years ago.... but a low-rider wasn't what I was looking for. Got an access-cab V6 4x4 SR5 in Speedway Blue. Have had it just a little over a week, and have to fight with my wife over who gets to drive it!


I told myself that I'm not going to fart around and modify the Tacoma...... we'll see how long that lasts!

Anyhoo - I'm buck from Canada, and I like to party - Eh!

Well, my bike is actually blue also... the pic is showing the bike with the mis-matching track plastics.

First car - Hyundai Pony was blue
Ford Taurus was blue
Wifes Hyundai Accent is blue

I figured why break the trend.... so I found a nice speedway blue Tacoma!

I'm keeping it stock, remember !!

..... (I've already been looking for rims, and I'll downgrade the current ones to a winter tire setup. I live in a snow-belt and swear by snows on any vehicle)
