    Hello fellow members

I am happy to say I am now a owner of a Tacoma.

The dream came thru after seeking for 1 year & 5 months. And taking the risk of selling my car before the time came to buy. Meaning for 5 months I walked alone but the wait was worth it.

Actually after selling my 2000 Jeep Wrangler in dec 1997 I decided to get back to the truck world but not the same trip if you know what I mean. No chevrolet or ford or any of that nonsense.

I do miss my jeep beacuse I invested some bucks into into it and it was the the best 4cyl I have ever seen with upgrades form bumber to bumber.

    Enough of the nostalgia.

I am happy know that I have entered this toyota tacoma world, I know now that it is what I expected and more and just by being a owner for some weeks.

I am happy to find avid passioned tacoma owners as I did also in the jeep wrangler world.

From past experience I know now that V6 has more value $ and it is more respected so that is what I got. I dont underestimate the 4 cyl since my jeep was that and I beat some pretty big V6 and V8 in a cars how in a mud hole contest ( the secret was the lockers I had installed on my jeep) But I know that it will be more appreciated if the the moment comes when I have to sell for $ reason since that would be the only reason talking in a sense of fairness that I would do it, sell it. Nothing more, or upgrade to a newer model or better to my knowledge from some years of experience to get a model that would suit my need.

The one thing that I like about toyota is that they think of every need basically meaning SR5 or not TRD Sport or TRD Off Road, Prerunner or not, short or long bed, single or extended or double cab.

Hey this truck is considered a small (compact) truck in the truck world but to me and some this truck is big enough to hold its own.

Looking forward to learn more about what this little truck can do from all you members and likewise.

Thank you in advance and see you in the forum.
