Can anyone tell me or show me a pic of where the drain plug is for the oil? I got under there and man oh man, can't seem to see.

Hey, I went in from the front under and didn't have much room. I saw one drain plug, but it looked like it could be something I shouldn't touch. I then went out again later determined. I went in from the side (passenger) and whala. I can reach the filter no problem and the drain plug is right there. I just couldn't make out the oil pan. It was confusing too to see the drain plug straight down and not coming out the side as usual. I still have 3400 miles to go for the first change. I will use wix 51348 and some 5w30. CAFE has no effect on me. I would rather have some thicker oil in the motor. I have run 5w30 for years and haven't burnt a drop in past vehicles.

Thanks for the reply master. This is one hell of a truck. Nice up here in New Hampshire.

I just read on a different site that the plug I see straight up and down could be the transfer case???
