I appreciate all the responses! Especially from my Tennessee boys! I understand most of you guys are into big lifts and mudders, and rightfully so! I always thought thats how I would set up my next Tacoma (former '98 2x4) , but keep in mind I bought this truck as it sits for $15,500 with 75,000 miles. Best deal I've ever seen. Keep hatin fellaz! Them 22's get the panties wet!
p.s. I will post a pic soon of my 5 pc billit that I powdercoated black. btw, I might keep the lights, I polished 'em and now i feel a little better bout them.

HaHA NICE. I like that look. There's not many looks that I don't like on our trucks besides the murdered out look. I seen a black sport that someone posted on here one time that I fell in love with. It had 22's and I've done all I can to try to find it but no luck. Let me know if you come across it. Also I believe if you take 1 leaf spring out it will set the back level with the front and look real sharp IMO. Im not runnin dub deuces but I got the 20's however I went with a more off road look with mine.

I know, I know...... But I think those rims just scream shitty on a truck that doesn't have ESCALADE written all over it. You're not fooling anyone into thinking its a luxury truck, but to each their own. Welcome to the forum.

I'm not trying to fool anyone into thinking its a luxury truck. Its 2wd and I like the wheels. I'm a landscaper and haul a single axle trailer in the city. It does everything i need it to do. Also, I'm not "ghetto" or what alot of people associate with the big wheels. Its amazing how bad of a response the 22 in street wheels/tires get in every forum. A few of the comments really make some of you guys seem like dumbasses. I like everybody's truck because I love Tacomas. Trust me though, I dont take offense. Its just an interesting observation. I appreciate all the feedback (good or bad) .
I attached a pic with the new grill
