Hi, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

I'm just getting into trucks and i've been eyeballing a 2009 Tacoma, but due to Cash For Clunkers, in so.cal, the inventory has been depleted.

I initially wanted a 2009 Tacoma Quad Cab in white, but due to the nature of my business, I must drive a lot. So i'll settle for a 4 cylinder for now, but i'm having the worst of luck trying to locate one!

Anyways, just wanted to say hi to everyone here!

    Thanks meteoraman!

yes.. that's for now. Due to the nature of my business, I drive a lot. I probably put over 25,000 miles a year easily. I'm jsut trying to save some money for now. But later on, once business picks up, I definitely want a 4 door 4.0 V6 + TRD package.. :)

with the mileage alot of people on here get with their 4 bangers you should really consider a v6 if its only mileage thats your concern. mine is a year old a month ago and i got 24000 miles and all i do is drive to school and work but i wish i got a v6 :(

Don't beleive that crap you'll get better mileage in a 4-banger easily. Especially if you don't get a pre-runner or 4x4.
