    Hello all. I just bought an 03 PreRunner double cab. My first Toyota was a 98 v6 Camry which now has 180K and still running strong. I have been wanting a Toyota truck for some time now.

    I guess I found this site because I was researching info on a new water pump. I had my oil changed at the dealer on Friday and they told me that my water pump was leaking. So, I am trying to decide weather I want to do it my self. My truck has 105K on it and has been very well taken care of. I do wish it was 4WD but it does have Diff lock.

    Welcome to TW. i wish i bought the 4x4 also back when i first got her but now i love the diff lock and its pretty sweet, makes drifting in the dirt really stable. also it turns off the abs and if your in mud or sand its nice having it off.

    I have read that Diff lock should only be used for 5mph and less. Is this a liability issue?
