Welcome to TW, Do a search and I think you will find enough data, if not... post a thread in the First generation area, I'm certain your answer will come. I know this isn't an apple to an apple but Sat. I pulled about a thousand pounds and it was pretty effortless, I have an 06, 6 speed. I have a friend at work who used to have a landscaping business, and pulled a double axle trailer with two zero turn mowers, two push mowers, many trimmers, chainsaws, and lots of additional equipment, 4000-5000 lbs give or take, and never had a problem. Didn't win any races, but they never quit on him.
