new here and new to trucks in general.

just bought an 08 double cab a few weeks ago and even though i swore that i wasn't going to do anything to it i have already spent a little money on upgrades. first and foremost i reinstalled my old viper791 with remote start, alpine head unit, ipod controller, xm, and new nerf bars. i have been an installer for almost 17 years so be on the lookout for some more stereo work as i am replacing all of my old stuff for newer equipment.

look forward to becoming part of the community.

1 more thing; can anyone recommend and good magazines to start reading?

Welcome!

What kinda stuff are you into?

You can't ask about magazines without telling us what you're looking for?

If you're into offroading - I can give you a list of magazines.

You've opened a can of worms with that question. My current favorites are Good Old Boat, Practical Sailor and Latitudes & Attitudes. I can't wait to see some of the other suggestions!

I don't know of any Toyota magazines, but I love Nat. Geo. and once and a while you'll see a taco (hilux) in some far off land with no mods outside of some bald tires doing things we over here turn green with envy.
