New member, I haven't bought a Tacoma yet, but thinking about it real hard. Like the look and what I hear. Worried a little about power for pulling different stuff...........pontoon boat, son's car trailer etc.
How come Toyota doesn't offer leather seats?? Pondering short bed verus long bed on the 4 door model.........any thoughts??

    None currently,
The weight of the truck is what is going to limit your towing abilities.
The v6 engine will handle your pontoon easily.
I think the tow capacity is around 6,000 pounds, but do a search, there has been some good posts on towing.

I have a DC short bed and love it, with the 4:10 gears it will pull about anything, stopping is another subject, as long as it has trailer brakes you should be fine. We have a sticky about towing, read that and you should have all your answers ! Oh yeah, Welcome to TW
