Hey everybody! just got an 08' tacoma and i noticed the clutch has a high pitch churp when i depress it, but goes away when all the way down, also sometimes ticks when is all the way up. I do live in wisconsin and is cold, as well as cold and humid, is this normal noise due to weather or should i have this checked out or is there something i can do?

thanks for the info, you're right it was the throwout bearing, took it to dealership for warranty work, they talked with toyota and apparantly toyota acknowldges the problem and is revamping the whole system, and come the end of Feb. beginning of March I will get that new system under warranty

My truck had 285/60/18s on base model prerunner non bilstein suspension. It rubbed a bit but with 5100s @ 2.5 now, they don't.

Nice threadjack BTW, but it's your thread so whatever, lol...........
