I have a 1999 toyota tacoma with an automatic transmission, when I take off there is an annoying vibration that goes through the first couple of gears. Once I get up to speed it goes away. The same vibration occurs when I slow down. Any ideas what it may be? I replaced the swing bearing which was wore out an it went away for a little bit then started back. Could it be u-joints? they didn seem to have much slack in them when I checked them with my truck in Neutral....

x2 i would def do this and see if it cures your ails. does your truck have a center carrier bearing? that could also be the culprit
