    Hi Everyone,

Just bought a 2007 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab TRD Sport 4x2. I have not been this excited about a truck in 10 years. I kept hearing about the dependability of the Toyota vehicles so I decided its my turn to join in and see what all the fuss is about. I have only been driving the truck for about a week now, and I have never had any vehicle this nice. Man, why did I wait so long to get a Toyota.

Congrats on your purchase. I want to keep my truck looking new forever but I'm also looking forward to 5+ years of ownership and seeing that reliability most toy owners brag about.

None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars

    Welcome to TW!

I have had a number of reliable cars in the past (I typically drive them to 200K+), and my family has always sworn by Toyota's. So, here I am with my first brand new vehicle. I have a feeling the internet will break before my Tacoma does.

Welcome! It's a nice ride isn't it? The fit and finish on these Tacomas is incredible - like a well bred import sports car. Looks great inside and out, handles great, plenty of power, and will drive forever.

I feel the same way. Never felt soo good to sell a truck like it did when I sold my (ashamed to admit it) dodge, the worst truck I've ever owned. :frusty:
