    Purchased Saturday.

08 DC TRDRT Auto w/Borla exhaust.

Sold my 2000 Platinum Metallic TRD Tundra w/100k miles last week and replaced it with this. I should have bought a Taco back in 2000. Great truck. I don't plan on getting rid of this one for quite a while. Probably will do some mods as the wallet fattens back up. I'd really like to upgrade the audio and maybe, just maybe do a leveling kit. I'm fine with how it looks right now other than the tint job.

I was within an inch of getting the six speed. Found this one nearby and saw the Borla exhaust add on and went with it. Sounds great.

I am surprised at the low RPMs at interstate speeds. So far, I've only ran about 2000 to 2100 RPM at 70-73 mph. That should help me with the MPG. Mine also has a reuseable air filter that came with the Borla exhaust. Not sure if it is an entirely different air intake or just a drop in filter. It came factory installed.

Fort Smith, Arkansas. I think I have the only one in town so far. I saw a silver streak mica TRDRT AC late last week.

Getting the passenger and driver windows tinted tomorrow. Probably will go with a cap sometime before this Winter. A couple pics are in my gallery. I'll post more after the tint job is done tomorrow.

Great site and fairly civil compared to the other Taco forums I've found thus far.

    Thanks for having me.

    Later,

    Bunk

Welcome to TacomaWorld. That is a nice looking Tacoma.
I have the Borla Exhaust with the drop in filter also. I believe it is the factory intake with the drop in filter. And yes, it does sound good!

Thanks again for this place. It seems more and more other Taco forums out there are getting tougher and tougher to read.

    http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=237105

Not starting a board war and I know many of you guys post elsewhere, but it's just refreshing to come to this place from other forums out there right now.

As far as the MPG goes, I'm averaging 16.5 in town. Still haven't had it out on an extended road trip.

    Thanks again,

    Bunk
