New Tacoma - 1st Toyota Truck!

    I have about 50 miles on a new 2010 Tacoma Access Cab PreRunner, 2.7L - 5 spd manual shift truck. I love the truck as I have two sea kayaks (each about 17 feet long) and a canoe (as well as two bicycles) that I haul around. I am one of the old guys, 62 yrs old, forced into retirement - via a mandatory lay off - so I am making the best of it and playing with my toys. The new Tacoma is going to make all that easier than the Camry sedan I traded in for the new truck! I'll put a Thule X421 rack on the truck as soon as the dealer calls and tells me it's come in - and then dealing with transporting the kayaks/canoe will be soooooo easy! I live about a mile from the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal waterway, 25 miles from two huge swamps, and near several remote rivers. I have paddled and biked all my adult life so the new truck will be something I always wanted to make enjoying these pursuits easier!
