Greetings everyone. As of yesterday I have jumped the fence from the owner of a GM truck to a Toyota. The situation surrounding this decision was not planned, nor was it pleasant, but I need to own a truck, and the Taco represents my 5th truck purchase (it's a long story) since getting rid of a 97 Ford F150 two years ago. I'm getting sick of messing with trucks.

I actually used the bad press to my advantage, and managed to score my truck for $200 under the actual dealership invoice - not the one that they like to show the customer that is actually approximately a thousand dollars higher than their true cost.

My truck is a 2010 Tacoma Acess Cab PreRunner SR5. Mine has the 2.7L four, 5 speed manual, backup camera (this thing is too cool), drop hitch, and the rest of the ubiquitous pure profit add ons that they love to pile on the trucks to raise the price.

Here are some pics of the new ride. You can catch a few glimpses of the one it's replacing in some of the shots.

Great pics......I too came out of a full sized GM (Avalanche) and haven't looked back. In the Tacoma I have found my perfect truck.

Thanx for the greetings everyone. I'm hoping for a long life with few trips to get stupid stuff that should never break in the first place fixed. :D
