New to the forum and want to say "hello".

I just bought myself a brandy new 2010 Taco 4x4 double cab.

I used to own an 04' s-runner which I loved. I ended up trading it in for an f250 diesel quadcab. The truck was sweet and I loaded it with a lift and tires and wheels.... the whole enchilada. It was fun but I wanted to come back to more manageable machine since I didn't need it for hauling /towing.

I knew that I wanted a new taco and I didn't plan on buying new but when I saw this 4x4 it had everything I needed. I love driving stick so I bought the 6 spd manual.

Very excited to be back in a Tacoma and geez the amount of room under the hood is unbelievable compared to my 6.0l diesel!

I have already started to do some research into the "must do" mods. I am very curious to see what kind of lift everyone prefers? I would like to get 33" with full clearance. I see alot about the Toytec.... I'm looking to go mild (3-5") with quality components that will be BETTER than OEM.

The forum looks awesome, I look forward to getting involved.

Welcome, and congrats on your purchase. I've heard great things about the toytec lift setups, and it all depends on your preference/wallet.
I have and love my Icons, and you'll hear all about camburg, fox, king, etc. just do some research and make sure what you're getting is really what you want.

Edit: By the way, any of the 3" lifts will give you enough room for 33's and IMO if you're going to be offroading, that's the route you want to take.
