We sold our Camry today and my wife gave me the green light to buy a newTacoma. I like the Double Cab model and don't know if I should buy it this month or wait until November or December. My other problem should I get the 06 4x4 or 4x2 model or 07? I have a Sequoia 4x4 and have used it off road when I go hunting. My wife said there's no need to have two 4x4 vehicles.

I just started pricing Tacomas today and found two that I liked in the Southern California area.I found a new 2006 Tacoma,Automatic,V6, 2WD, Double Cab,Shortbed with the following options. CF, EJ, FE, GY, OC, RL and TO. I was quoted a price of $26,010 and that it was $500 over factory invoice. My wife likes this Taco because of side impact airbags, price, upgraded stereo system.

I also found a new 2006 V6 4WD,DC,SB with options of CF,FE, PY,and TO for $26,000. I like this Taco because it has 4x4. I can always use my Sequoia but the Taco appears to be a more agile offroad.

Any thoughts on these Taco quotes. In my area, Toyota is offering 4.9% financing on 2006 Tacos and I qualify. Appreciate your thoughts.

Welcome to TW! I'm also pricing some Tacomas here in SoCal. Where'd you go to? I'm checking out Carson Toyota and Manhattan Beach Toyota.

I made a few phone calls to Longo and Crown Toyota. I just to need to test drive them and get more info on the Tacos. I hope to buy one by the end of the month.

Get a 4 wheel drive. You won't have regrets after the fact, and with the 4 door, you and the Mrs might just find that the Sequoia is the one made expendable in exchange for another more 'nimble' road vehicle.
