Hey all, my name is Brandon. I just bought a 2010 Double Cab Tacoma yesterday! (nice birthday present to myself) It's the TRD Offroad 4x4 Auto in Timberland Mica with the gray interior. I'm really happy that I finally got a truck. I know so many people that own Taco's and absolutely love them!

I'm pretty big into cars, and recently completed my Camaro project. I rebuilt the engine of a convertible Z28 (1996) into a 383ci beast. Naturally aspirated and pumping mid 450Hp to the wheels. So with that being said, I am looking forward to making a few upgrades to my new Taco.

As for the forum handle, I will be moving from the east coast (MD) to the west coast (Monterey CA) in June. (and I seem to be continuously traveling!!) This is a large motivating factor to my truck purchase. I plan to trailer my camaro, packing a lot inside it...and fitting the rest of my shit into the cab/bed of the truck. That way I can make it all in one trip, by myself, without having to ship either a car...or a bunch of other shit. (I really don't own much furniture, so it shouldn't be a problem getting it all to fit. I estimate about 5-6k of total weight distributed between the trailer and the truck itself. I will be doing a lot of reading on towing best practices, being that I haven't done much major towing prior to this cross country jaunt I am going to be undertaking in a couple months.

Advice is always welcome! Glad to be a part of the community now!

    ~Brandon
