    213,000 miles, is that a modification?
    Hello Tacoma People!
    ...a quick "what I'm all about";
    I drive a black '95 Tacoma SX 4X4, 2.7L, five-speed with no modifications except the naturally-occurring wear and tear of the last 213,000 miles (turned over today), ...and I tell everyone I know that in the last 13 years I've only had to invest $1100 in repairs...not counting maintenance type stuff...she's only failed to start ONCE in the entire time, on Thanksgiving Day of 2005...(I didn't really want to visit the relatives anyway)...and the way I see it, the truck was smart enough to pick my driveway in which to give up the ignition coil.
    Anyway, I work as a photographer and log about 300 miles a week on average...so my biggest interest lately is anything having to do with getting more mileage out of my truck...it still easily gets 25 mph on the highway...and actually got 22 this past weekend hauling 1/3 cords of firewood all day.
    ...a fine truck.
    Glad to get to know you people.
    Marty

    I think its funny that people here call them "tacos"...I tried it for a while when I first got mine and nobody got it at all. Oh well.
    I do put it to work...I don't baby it but I don't abuse it either.
    If you want something to baby, buy a Camry... ...or have a baby!
