Another Texan...

Currently a silverado owner but looking to make the change to a new or almost new double cab tacoma. The tacoma seems to be the answer to my needs, better economy, great looks, and fits in the garage next to my wifes tahoe
Seems to be lots of great info here, as well as tips, tricks, etc.
Looking at a double cab prerunner... still researching the available options, packages, and what not but seems to be that with the V6, the auto trans is the way to go due to the gearing of the 6spd for fuel milage.
If any locals catch this thread, perhaps they can recommend a dealer here in San Antonio and maybe some tips in negotiations. I know the negotiating game for imports isnt quite the same as domestics so I wonder what a good start would be on something that stickers around $25-28k? I see theres a $2k incentive on double cabs.
