My New Tacoma - 2009 Double Cab Long Bed

    Hi everyone! Just wanted to say hello and let you know the forum looks great. I browsed around the web searching for info on Tacomas before I pulled the trigger on mine...I have to say that of the 3 message boards I found on Tacomas, tacomaworld.com was by far and away the best hands down.

    I just bought a 2009 Tacoma Double Cab Long Bed 4WD today and am thrilled about it. The truck had the stock Dunlap 245/75/R16 tires, but thanks to some browsing on this forum I learned that I could put on my 265/75/R16 Cooper Discoverer ATR tires w/o any additional mods and no rubbing. I had just put these tires on the vehicle I was trading in 3 months ago, so didn't really want to lose them in the deal.

    Yes! I'm really happy with the improvement in appearance over the 245's.
