New Member Intro.

Hello Tacoma World,

I'm a new member from Houston, Tx. My father and I are looking to pick up a new Tacoma regular cab for hauling duties. We wanted an auto reg. cab PreRunner, but no such vehicle exists, so it looks like we'll be making our own.

We are having a bitch of a time trying to find a black one, that dealers are willing to get to us. We have seen a few here in the Gulf States Toyota region, but of course, dealers want to sell us the trucks they have on the lot, and we want the prices that they advertise for, on the truck they don't have. I figured we'll be paying a bit of a premium to get the black like we want, but the recent graduate incentive program should help. I'm going to barely make the graduated in the past 2 years requirement.

If you guys in the Houston area have any recommendations for dealers, I'm all ears. The last time we bought a Toyota was four years ago when my parents bought a Sienna from Champion Toyota. Great experience, GREAT price, but I haven't been able to contact our salesperson from that transaction. I avoid both Sterling McCall locations' sales departments like the plague.

I have already gained a lot of knowledge, and hope to become a regular here.

And the most important thing to remember when on a automotive forum...
I know, I know...search noob!!

 

Well I can't help about the location, but I could have sworn Toyota once made a PreRunner Reg Cab. I checked out Toyota's website and low & behold it's not an option. Hmmm. I don't know. Perhaps a used one, but that's a needle in a hay stack. Well, either way man good luck on the search. Still try their site to find other dealerships you could contact. Hell, make a road trip out of it. That would break it it. Welcome to TW!
