Hey just wanted to introduce my self here, Hi I'm Al, I drink, fish, hunt and play on tractors...just your basic redneck stuff, Wushaw is just a name some redneck buddy of mine in HS gave me that works well for user names.
I placed my want list in the hat last week for a 09 access cab 4X4 manual and figured I need to get the skinny on any past problems and possible future dealer time for the Taco.

This will be my first non big three vehicle I have ever bought and it had nothing to do with quality or anything like that, I always needed a full size pu 3/4 or one ton for pulling reasons, I have that covered now and need something between class 7 and Jeep wrangler so I figure the Taco fits the bill.

Broken and scratched tailgate, cracked rear tail light lens, coffee stain in driver seat.
Welcome to TW, are you getting a 4 cyl or a 6 ? I think on the 09's the bugs have been worked out. There were a weak tailgates and weak rear springs. The dealers took care of most of them, some not but reasons unknown. For the most part everybody loves there Tacos.

    Welcome to the forum!

How long do you have to wait for it?

Another Wrangler owner here also (that's my play toy).

Stick around .... we'll have you wanting all sorts of modifications even before you get the truck!

    Thanks guys:)

I am getting the V6 and the dealer told me my wait time is like 2mo to 8mo, it's not like ordering from one of the big three....built to your spec and six weeks later you go pick it up.

The only mods or additions I will be getting is a topper for hunting purposes and a complete different set of tires/wheels BFG MT again for hunting since I encounter mud & snow every year I go chasing Pheasants.

My TJ will become my TOY.
