4 days with my new Tacoma

Hello everyone,

I'm glad I found this website been reading several threads and this community seems to be great. Very helpful!

Just bought my first Toyota Tacoma, it is a 08' Tacoma Pre Runner Off Road package, double cab, 6 CD changer, factory tow, off road tires. This is my first truck and so far its been a great experience driving it. I really like the outdoors and with this new toy I'm sure I will be able to enjoy it more. I'm looking to have some minor custom changes, skid plate, HID lights, and I hope you guys can give me some advice on what else to add.

Nice truck. I've rarely seen the roof rack dealy.

So, can you add a rack to it for luggage or bicycle holder, etc.


Now you have to get the lift, wheels, tires and tint. Your truck will be a totally different character.

I'd go with a Toy tec 3 inch and 265/75/16 AT's. Even better is upper control arm swaps with their kits.

 

Nice truck, I wish mine came with the roof rack from the dealer.

i hope you all can help out on what to add! im a newbie when it comes to offroad and all that... but im a fast learner im already digging into the internet and catalogs for stuff.

the first mods that i want to add are tires, ipod adapter and some nice xenon head lights and fog lights. i want to lifted a little but not that much... im not a hard core offroading like some of you guys... what you guys recommend? and how much would i spent for a nice lift?
