Lurked for about a month gathering data to arm myself for the buying process. Just wanted to thank the members, webmaster, webhost, engineers, etc. on making Tacoma World a great resource!

Glad we could help! Welcome to TW!

I went to high school in Broomfield and spent several years hanging out around Boulder and Fort Collins. My bestfriend still lives in LoDo. Great place to be. Do you have any plans for your truck?

    Cheers!

Thanks for asking. Mostly get up into the hills West of Denver and get after it outside.

In the short term I'll put some Bridgestone Dueler Revo AT 265/70R17 on. Not sure what to do with the Stock Dunlap GrandTrek AT20? The tireshop says the will give me $55/tire, but considering the retail for ~$130 that seems kinda low.

Probably put on a mod for Daytime running lights if nothing else to save some $$$ on my insurance premium. WeatherTech Floor Liners for sure in a few weeks (FYI - i called them and they had a problem with the 2007 model floor liners and the new ones they are testing now and should be ready for retail in 2 weeks - month). Maybe change out the disc player for an aftermarket model (i.e. I would like a Aux input for Ipod). Also, probably a topper, but that will wait for a bit until I take care of these smaller issues.

In my humble opinion (which I value greatly ) that is what the Dunlops are worth. I really don't like mine, but if I get rid of them I void a 100,000 mile warranty on my tires (I get free ones when these explode ). The Revos are EXCELLENT tires for just about anything (plus they look great too.

I installed these two weeks ago. I have pics, and I am going to do a DIY article on here. I just haven't had the time. Guess I will have to just go ahead and crank it out. That way you know what you are getting in too.

    :D

    Cheers!

I read about how to do it. Where did you order the parts from? I tried these guys, but no luck.

    Thanks

Try these guys. The people I used - I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Welcome to the group. One of these days I may do some changes....I added a chop stick to the back window. Prevents someone from using a slim jim to jimmy open the window and gain access to the can....that doesn't count though.
