I cant get my struts assembly back on after adding lift

    3 inch suspension, new rear 9000 shocks and leaf springs,new KYB struts. ne wtires
    I just had my springs compressed and new struts put in and I cant get them to go back on the truck, there is just not enough room . I even took off the control arm and they still wont fit , I wanted to get my tires today please help SOS

    well I had to take it off on the top where there is a horizontal bolt about 8 inches long that allowed the control arm to move down freely

    I am not sure how far down I can push hub, its pulling the axxle out to where the boots are tight

    Is that a top plate spacer? If so, they are tough to stuff in there. You can loosen the LCA to get some extra play.

    pry between the lca and the frame....or use a jack off the uca and the top of the fender

    Thanks I did , Ihave to where I can pull down on it until the boots on the axle are tight , how far can I pull down?

    I am going to try the spring compressor from Auto Z, and see if that will help, the directions didnt say how much of a pain in A#$ thisis . it will be worth it

    Deckplate,5100's,eibach's,Wheelers AAL,
    you may have to disconnect your sway bar.finish the lift and then re connect. you may still need a buddy and a really long pry bar

    DO NOT PRY ON ANYTHING!! loosen LCA bolts until LCA drops down then put strut in.

    I am very careful not to pry to much , thats why I think if I can compress the the srtrut assembly , then put it in , and reconnect the lca,

    Rock Sliders Front Light Bar +1.5" Front Arms with Ext. Kings
    +1 on the sway bar being disconnected at the links. Loosen control arms bolts then tighten once you have all the nuts and bolts back in place.

    success!!! I had to disconnect the LCA and the sway bar then remove a clip for the brake line then it went in with minimum hammering and prying , I am new to this wab site and so far found it very useful , I really appreciate the feed back I will post some pics when I get done. Thanks everyone.
