    Hey, I just bought a '13 black TX quad-cab w/NAV.
I put the chrome step rails on it.
I'm interested to find out what are the coolest upgrades?
    Peace!

Welcome from a fellow Baja owner. I think "coolest" upgrades will vary from people to people. Search around on here and I am sure you will find anything and everything your heart desires :) not limited to a SHIT ton of sarcasm

I just bought the 2013 Baja Edition and am having the 3 inch Ready Lift leveling kit put on so I can fit 285/75 R16 BFG Mud Terrains. We'll see how it goes. I definitely do not want to mess around with the Bilstein shocks that came on it.

Hmmmm, you know that the truck sits level stock right? You're going to throw a spacer lift on there? Are you also going to lift the rear with a block? To each their own but you spend a LOT of money for the Baja and you're going to circumvent all the hard work from Toyota's engineers.

Sorry to hijack OP just curious the thoughts behind this.

I just want a little more clearance for the 33s and I don't think they are going to fit with the stock setup.

Welcome! Congrats on the truck. I have a 13 Baja myself...access cab, 6spd black (nothern cal). This is my 6th tacoma and it was nice to finally purchase something that didn't require mods right out of the box. Enjoy it!

How did it go with your spacers? I just put in a 2.5 inch spacer so I can fit 285's.

I ended up not doing the spacers. It would have put the suspension in such a bind that it would have messed it up. It's 2 inches higher than a stock tacoma from the factory with the Bilsteins on it.

Yea I'm taking the spacer out. Wish I would have bought the trd-offroad and did my own mods, but for now I just want to fit 285's with out any cutting. Read some people did a a 1 inch spacer with the baja kit. I'm going to try it and see what happens.
